In cooperation with the locals, every week waste from the two villages of Kapisawar and Sawinggrai is collected, sorted and then sent to the trash bank in Sorong.

 

The trash is transported to the trash bank in Surabaya, where it is finally melted and recycled. Through close cooperation with the staff of the trash-bank, this process is constantly improved and monitored. This program was launched in November 2019 and requires transportation and labour costs.
